Digitalis on ST T change
1 = Sagging ST depression.  2 = T Wave is pulled down and may have decrease amplitude, diphasic or negative pattern.
Patient. 79 yo female was admitted with anorexia, nausea and abdominal pain. Her initial digoxin level was 6.1. Note that creatinine level was 1.1.

Digitalis on ST T change:  (1) Sagging ST depression. (1). (2) T Wave is pulled down and may have decrease amplitude, diphasic or negative patern (2). (3) Short QT interval.

These ST T changes may be seen in many other conditions like ventricular hypertrophy, ventricular conduction defect, myocardial ischemia, and nonspecific ST T change. Short QT interval is more characteristic of digitalis effect.
